In the modern world, platforms for fast delivery, ridesharing, and cleaning, such as Zepto, Rapido, and Snabbit, have provided millions of young men and women with the opportunity to earn good money by working from home or part-time. However, when using these platforms, it is necessary to observe a number of rules and conditions, as one mistake can lead to job loss and account blocking.
Ignorance of these rules can result in ID blocking or legal problems. Therefore, it is crucial that every platform worker understands five basic rules.
The first rule relates to fraud and system manipulation. Any fraud is absolutely unacceptable on the platforms. It is strictly forbidden to interfere with the GPS settings of the application, book fake orders or trips, or intentionally increase distance and time. Inciting a client to cancel a trip or order, failing to complete delivery after receiving the goods, or submitting false complaints are also considered serious violations of the rules. Such actions can lead to legal prosecution and account suspension.
The second rule concerns fitness, insurance, and possession of legal documents. If a worker uses a vehicle for trips or deliveries, they must have a valid technical condition certificate for the vehicle, insurance, and a PUC (Pollution Under Control) certificate. Additionally, workers must independently provide themselves with personal accident coverage and medical insurance.
The third rule relates to safety and establishes zero tolerance for alcohol or narcotics. It is strictly prohibited to work while under the influence of alcohol, tobacco, or any other narcotic substances. Upon discovering such behavior, the worker may be immediately fired, and a police report may be filed. Wearing a helmet while driving, adhering to speed limits, and not running red lights are mandatory. It is also forbidden to carry more than one passenger on a motorcycle.
The fourth rule pertains to uniform standards, hygiene, and conduct. Platforms are very strict about the quality of their brand and services. During delivery or service, the company's t-shirt or jacket must be worn, and a branded bag must be used. Food products must be handled safely and hygienically. Respectful attitude towards clients and company employees is mandatory. Strict measures are taken after checking complaints about poor behavior or harassment.
The fifth rule relates to impartiality of work and accountability. The company views the worker as an independent service provider, i.e., a self-employed contractor. The worker chooses the time to log in and shifts themselves. Personal client information, such as phone number or address, can only be used to provide the service, and its transfer to third parties is prohibited. Responsibility for any damage, accident, or violation lies with the worker themselves.
Overall, before becoming a platform worker, it is necessary to understand these five rules. By following them, anyone can work safely and earn a good income every month without any problems.
