According to data from the consulting firm Redseer Strategy Consultants, during the first two days of festive sales, e-commerce recorded sales worth approximately 24,000 crore rupees. Nikhil Dalal, a partner at Redseer Strategy Consultants, told PTI that the first two days demonstrated an expansion of the shopping basket during the holidays in India. The growth is supported by order volumes as consumers begin spending not only on mobile phones but also on clothing, electronics, and home appliances.
