Following the success of 'Drishyam 3', Ajay Devgn focuses on the film 'Chauhan'; shooting begins in Kargil

Ajay Devgn, riding the success of the film 'Drishyam: The Conclusion', has started work on his next project. According to one report, he plans to release another film around the same time in 2027, and for this, he has begun working on the movie 'Chauhan'.

According to Bollywood Hungama, Devgn arrived in Ladakh for the shooting of 'Chauhan'. A source told the portal that Ajay Devgn is filming 'Chauhan' in Kargil. He arrived several days ago and has already started shooting. Some important scenes will be shot in this picturesque town. The creators have obtained all necessary permissions in advance and organized large-scale arrangements for the smooth conduct of the shoot.

The source also noted that it is quite cold in Kargil, and the weather will lend an authentic feel to the scenes of 'Chauhan'.

This is Devgn's first time shooting in Ladakh after decades. Previously, the actor filmed in this state in 2003 in J.P. Dutta's war drama 'LOC: Kargil'.

The trailer for 'Chauhan', released in June, showed Ajay Devgn in a powerful persona. He is dressed entirely in black, with the popular song 'Jumma Chumma De De' playing in the background. The trailer concludes with the impactful line: 'Tell Patan, Chauhan is coming,' which caused a stir among fans and attracted online attention.

Niraj Yadav is the director of 'Chauhan', while Jyoti Deshpande, Anand L. Rai, and Himanshu Sharma are producing under the aegis of Jio Studios and Color Yellow Productions. This action drama starring Ajay Devgn is scheduled to be released in theaters on October 1, 2027.
