After Nana Patekar's death, Madhuri Dixit replaced him in the KBC show with Sonali Bendre

The death of Nana Patekar, who was scheduled to participate in the Marathi version of the show 'Who Wants to Be a Millionaire' (Kon Honar Crorepat), caused deep sorrow among his fans. He left a significant mark on the industry, contributing to both Hindi and Marathi cinema.

Nana Patekar was supposed to appear in the first episode of the show 'Kon Honar Crorepat,' hosted by Madhuri Dixit. Previously, he and Madhuri starred together in the film 'Vajud' in 1998, and fans were expecting to see them together on screen after many years.

However, following the passing of Nana Patekar on October 8th at the age of 75, the organizers were forced to change plans. Now, actress Sonali Bendre will take Nana Patekar's place in the first episode. This will be the first time that Madhuri and Sonali will appear together on screen, although they have never worked in the same film before.

During the filming, Madhuri and Sonali will also discuss issues of personal life and family, particularly the importance of dividing household chores among family members. Sonali will share an amusing fact that her mother-in-law does not allow her to work in the kitchen.

Madhuri noted that the opportunity to appear alongside Sonali, despite having no prior collaborations in cinema, is a special moment for her. The new season of 'Kon Honar Crorepat' with Madhuri Dixit starts on Monday, October 12th, at 9:00 PM on Sony Marathi and SonyLIV. The show's slogan is 'Ata Khel Badlanaar,' which means 'Now the game will change.' In the future, many famous personalities from the state of Maharashtra will also participate in the program, similar to how it happens in the 'Who Wants to Be a Millionaire' version with Amitabh Bachchan.
