BYD launches Song Pro DM-i Flex, a plug-in hybrid flex with high autonomy in Brazil

BYD presented the new Song Pro DM-i Flex, which stands out as the first flex plug-in hybrid available in Brazil. This model combines the efficiency of electrification with the versatility of biofuel use, leveraging BYD's exclusive fifth-generation Super DM-i Flex technology.

In daily use, the vehicle operates in fully electric mode, providing quiet and economical driving. For longer trips, the driver has the option to refuel with ethanol or gasoline, according to their preference, ensuring greater autonomy and freedom of use.

The technical specifications of the hybrid SUV are notable, achieving up to 1,105 kilometers of combined range, generating 219 horsepower, and recording an acceleration time from 0 to 100 km/h of only 8.6 seconds.

Aesthetically, the Song Pro received a front renewal with the Dragon Face identity, characteristic of the Dynasty family. The lighting cluster, grille, and bumper have been updated. The look is complemented by the new C-pillar design and 18-inch alloy wheels.

Internally, the vehicle features a piano black-coated dashboard and an integrated instrument cluster. The seats are made of premium eco-leather, and a panoramic sunroof expands the cabin space. Travel tranquility is reinforced by dual acoustic front windows, coupled with the silence of electric operation.

The intelligent central cockpit features a 12.8-inch screen, which offers connectivity and support for remote updates through Over-the-Air technology. Furthermore, the trunk offers a volume of 530 liters to accommodate the family.

In terms of safety, the Song Pro is equipped with six airbags, Isofix system for child seats, 360-degree panoramic cameras, and the advanced ADAS 2 driving assistance system, making every trip safer and more intuitive.

For strictly urban routines, BYD also offers the BYD Dolphin Mini, classified as the best-selling and most economical electric vehicle in the country. This model achieves up to 280 kilometers of range, with an estimated operating cost of R$ 0.12 per kilometer traveled, making it financially and ecologically advantageous.

The Dolphin Mini maintains safety with six airbags and disc brakes on all four wheels, prioritizing occupant protection. The content about the vehicles was originally published in Olhar Digital.
