Correios and AliExpress have formalized the renewal of their collaboration, whose main objective is to ensure the delivery of goods purchased on the marketplace by customers located in Brazil. Additionally, the two companies signed a memorandum of understanding detailing measures to guarantee the fluidity of deliveries during peak consumption periods, such as Black Friday and the 11.11 event.
Specifically, the renewal of the delivery acceleration pact occurred after an initial agreement signed in May 2026. This cooperation is relevant because, despite e-commerce having national stores, a significant portion of the items offered comes from other nations, notably China, which frequently implies long waiting times for product arrival.
The purpose of this partnership transcends merely ensuring that products reach consumers; it also aims to reduce delivery times, even for orders traveling international routes. Although technical details have not been disclosed by either party, it is known that the agreement includes the implementation of various logistical initiatives.
Among these actions are the joint planning between Correios and AliExpress to handle high-demand seasons, increasing parcel sorting capacity, and optimizing operational processes. The expectation is that this arrangement will benefit deliveries more significantly during periods of highest demand, such as Black Friday, scheduled for late November, and 11.11, a commercial date originating from China but increasingly adopted in other markets, including Brazil.
For Correios, the gain resulting from this partnership should primarily manifest in increased revenue, as stated by the company's president. He affirmed that by strengthening its presence with major global platforms, the company expands its capacity to generate revenue, capture new business, and solidify its role as a leader in e-commerce logistics. The president added that the organization is prepared for the projected increase in order volume for the end of the year, relying on integrated and robust logistics that connect Brazil to world e-commerce, providing greater speed to buyers.
Although recently announced, the renewal of the alliance between Correios and AliExpress was finalized in September at the Alibaba Group facilities in Hangzhou, China.
