Chinese Vice Premier He Lifeng held a video call on Thursday with British Chancellor of the Exchequer John Healey. The main topic of discussion was strengthening economic and financial cooperation between the two countries.
He Lifeng, who heads the Chinese side in the China-UK Dialogue on Economy and Finance, stated that both sides must jointly implement the important agreements reached by the heads of state. He emphasized the need for further strengthening exchanges and interaction in economic and financial spheres, respect for each other's key interests, achieving mutual benefit and positive results, as well as promoting stable and constructive development of bilateral economic relations.
John Healey, who is also the representative of the British side in this dialogue, expressed the British side's readiness to deepen dialogue and cooperation with China in the fields of economy and finance, contributing to the continuous development of relations between the United Kingdom and China.
