A tragic end has come to a love affair spanning nearly five years in the Kaushambi district of Uttar Pradesh. A young woman, about 24 years old, from the Khokraj police station area, was in a relationship with Narendra Kumar from the same village. According to her family, they met secretly and had also promised to marry, during which physical relations were established between them.
Recently, Narendra Kumar got engaged to another young woman. When his girlfriend found out about this, she approached him and spoke about getting married. The young woman insisted that since they had vowed to live and die together, she could not marry someone else. It is alleged that Narendra Kumar clearly rejected the marriage proposal.
The family also alleges that the young man told the woman to do whatever she wanted, and allegedly also said that if she wanted to die by drowning, she should, or if she wanted to die by consuming poison, she should. Distressed by this alleged comment from her lover, the young woman returned home and consumed a poisonous substance. As her condition worsened, her family took her to the district hospital, where she died during treatment.
After receiving information about the incident, the police have started investigating the matter. Legal action has been initiated against Narendra Kumar based on the family's complaint. The police are currently conducting an intensive investigation into the allegations and the sequence of events.
According to the family's statement, the relationship between the young woman and Narendra had been going on for four to five years, and she was very serious about this relationship. The family claims that marriage was fixed between them, but the young man got engaged elsewhere. After learning this information, the young woman expressed her desire to marry him.
According to the police, the young woman died after consuming the poisonous substance. A case has been registered against the accused young man, and necessary action is being taken. The police are examining all aspects related to the entire sequence of events, the relationship between the two, and the allegations made by the young woman.
Additional SP Amita Singh stated that a case of suicide by the young woman has emerged in the Khokraj police station area. The family reported that the young woman and the young man had a love relationship for the past four to five years, and the young woman committed suicide by consuming poison because the young man got engaged elsewhere.
According to the officer, a case has been registered based on the written complaint of the family, and the police are taking necessary action in the matter. Further action will be taken based on the evidence and allegations that emerge during the investigation. This incident severely highlights the end of a long-term relationship and the subsequent dispute. Currently, the police investigation is focused on the circumstances under which the young woman took this step and what communication took place between her and the accused young man before the incident.
