Russian officials deny death of young laboratory employee from illness

In the Russian Federation, officials refuse to acknowledge that a 28-year-old laboratory employee died from illness. Nevertheless, about 200 people who had been in contact with this individual were placed in quarantine.

More than 60 colleagues were detained in the institute's building for several days, and access to some hospitals was also restricted.
