The Ministry of Construction, Housing and Communal Services of Russia is prepared to consider applications from Uzbek construction firms interested in entering the Russian market. This was stated by Nikita Stasishin, Deputy Minister of Construction, Housing and Communal Services of Russia, after the holding of a working group between Russia and Uzbekistan on cooperation in the construction sector in Fergana.
According to information provided by the press service of the Ministry of Construction of Russia, the Russian side also expects Uzbekistan to provide information on projects in which Russian organizations could participate.
The Deputy Minister emphasized the importance of supporting Russian developers in establishing direct contacts with potential clients and creating favorable conditions for their activities.
Furthermore, the Ministry of Construction of Russia announced that there are no obstacles to expanding the supply of products from Uzbekistan. At the same time, the Russian side believes it is necessary for Uzbek construction materials to remain competitive in the Russian market.
The Russian ministry is ready to publish information about manufacturers of Uzbek construction materials on the resources of relevant industry organizations. The parties also intend to develop cooperation in other areas of construction, including the exchange of experience in the field of construction expertise and supervision, as well as the implementation of digital solutions such as building information modeling and artificial intelligence technologies.
In addition, Russia and Uzbekistan plan to increase interaction in training personnel for the construction industries of both countries. Another direction of cooperation is joint research in fields such as building energy efficiency, seismic-resistant construction, construction climatology, acoustics, and engineering systems.
