Since the beginning of this year, Uzbekistan has registered the visit of 10.3 million foreign tourists. This figure exceeds the volume recorded for the same period in 2025 by 20.4%. A special surge of interest was observed in September, when 1.2 million people chose to travel to the country.
The growth in tourist flow is occurring across several directions, including both neighboring states and countries from far abroad. The most significant increase in the number of guests came from China, whose tourists increased by 2.1 times. There was also a substantial growth in arrivals from Malaysia (by 1.9 times), Egypt, and Romania (by 1.8 times), as well as from Indonesia (by 1.7 times).
Interest from other international markets is also showing positive dynamics. The number of travelers from Japan, the USA, and Russia increased by 1.5, 1.4, and 1.3 times, respectively. European countries also showed growth: Germany and Great Britain added a quarter, France increased the flow by 21%, and the number of tourists from Turkey grew by 15%.
This growing tourist flow has a direct impact on the financial side of the industry. From January to September, the export of tourism services brought 5.3 billion to the country, which is 51.2% higher than in the same period last year.
Parallel to the increase in visitors, Uzbekistan is actively working to expand its tourism offerings. New sites and non-standard leisure formats have been presented in the country, such as the complex in Margilan, agritourism in the Parkent district, and the possibility of parachute jumps in the Syrdarya region. It is planned that these new destinations will be integrated into existing tourist routes and package offers.
