Owaisi and Raja Singh clash over refusal of Muslim bouncers at Dandiya-Garba events

A political dispute has arisen in the state of Telangana regarding allegations that organizers of Dandiya-Garba events are refusing to hire Muslim bouncers. Asaduddin Owaisi, head of AIMIM, expressed concern over this matter and demanded decisive action from the police. In turn, MP Raja Singh, who was suspended from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), criticized Owaisi's stance and supported the decision of the Dandiya event organizers.

Owaisi stated that Muslim bouncers and other staff have filed complaints alleging that some event organizers are ignoring them. He called on the residents of Telangana to unite against this situation, overcoming religious differences. Owaisi addressed the public via the social network X, urging all citizens to forget religion for the sake of fighting 'this evil.' He warned that without such unity, the progress and development of the state could suffer, and strongly requested the police to intervene, stating that 'if the police take strict measures, this poison can be stopped.'

These statements by Owaisi came after reports surfaced in the media and social networks that some Dandiya organizers had refused to employ Muslim bouncers.

On the other hand, MP Raja Singh of Goshamahal criticized Owaisi for supporting Muslim bouncers. He questioned Owaisi's right to decide who would work at Hindu or Muslim festivals. Raja Singh published a video claiming that during Muslim festivals, Hindus are not allowed entry or employment.

He also accused that instances related to so-called 'love jihad' have increased in recent years, where Hindu girls were allegedly targeted by Muslim bouncers at Dandiya events. However, the provided data lacks any figures or independent evidence to support this claim. Raja Singh highly praised the Dandiya organizers' decision to engage Hindu bouncers, adding a threat: if non-Hindu bouncers are involved in the events, such events will be stopped.
