The Apple online store in the UAE offers the 512GB Bordeaux model for 6,349 dirhams. On October 6, the website indicated that delivery to Dubai was expected between October 28 and November 4.
Mohammed Mustafa, a phone vendor in the Deira market, noted that buyers are willing to pay more for the Bordeaux version compared to other colors. He stated: 'Currently, demand is only for the Bordeaux color.' He also added that as more stock becomes available in the market, the extra amount paid by buyers may decrease, referencing that new flagship colors usually attract a lot of attention initially, citing a similar situation with the orange iPhone 17 Pro last year.
Seller Obaidullah Jaseer from the Ghargaş market reported that Apple's delivery times have become one reason why some customers turned to local shops. Obaid said: 'The current delivery window for the 512GB Bordeaux model at the Apple Store has been pushed back to the period between October 28 and November 4.' He also specified that although the phone is listed on several online trading sites, orders are only accepted during short booking periods that open occasionally.
Buyers can compare the cost of purchasing in a store versus waiting for an online order. The in-store price depends on the available color and storage capacity. Potential buyers can clarify the price, storage capacity, and color of the phone with the seller before making a purchase.
Vendors reported that the black, silver, and glacier colors are being sold closer to Apple's original prices in the UAE. Furthermore, Apple announced the new iPhone Duo. Pre-orders in the UAE will begin at 4:00 PM on October 16, and the phone will be available from October 23. Traders expect the launch to attract more buyers to the Deira phone markets this month.
