The Indian Embassy in the UAE reported on Tuesday that Captain Smith Machhar is showing 'steady progress' and recovering his health after serious injuries. These injuries were sustained by him last week as a result of an attack by his co-pilot on a flydubai flight.
According to the embassy's information, the attack was carried out by an Omani citizen who used a battle axe.
