LG has expanded its UltraGear gaming monitor line in the Brazilian market, introducing new models designed to cater to various types of gamers. These releases cover screens of varying sizes, between 24 and 32 inches, and feature refresh rates reaching 200 Hz, along with a 1 ms response time.
Among the technological features offered, compatibility with NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync Premium stands out. These technologies are used to ensure correct frame display synchronization, minimizing occurrences such as tearing and stuttering during gaming sessions.
The core models of this new collection include the 27G523B, with 27 inches, and the 25G523B, measuring 25 inches. Both are equipped with an IPS panel, have a native refresh rate of 200 Hz, and a 1 ms (GtG) response time. This configuration is optimized for games requiring high agility and fast reaction, such as FPS, MOBAs, and racing simulators.
Leonardo Almeida, Senior Monitor Manager at LG Brazil, stated that these updates were conceived with the goal of increasing frame rates and reducing response time for the competitive audience.
For users who prefer a larger screen, LG has made available the 32G403B model, which has 32 inches. This monitor uses a VA panel, operates at a refresh rate of 144 Hz, and offers a contrast ratio of 3500:1. The manufacturer targets this model specifically to provide more immersive experiences, such as in RPGs and open-world games.
Additionally, LG informed that the new monitors in the family feature 99% coverage of the sRGB color space and integration with the LG Switch software, allowing users to adjust visual parameters, brightness, and different usage profiles.
The portfolio also includes the 24G411B-B and the 27G411A-B, which has a 24-inch version. These latter are presented by the manufacturer as entry-level options in the gaming line.
The company also announced a faster future launch: according to LG, a new UltraGear monitor with 1000 Hz capability should be released in October. However, full details about this model, including technical specifications and price in Brazil, were not disclosed in the material presented.
