Information was provided regarding ongoing work to increase production and financial recovery at the Farg'ona Oil Refinery (NKIZ) for President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
According to the state press service, after repairing the main technological units at the plant, it was possible to increase diesel fuel production by 30%, bitumen production by 60%, and aviation kerosene production fivefold.
Further comprehensive measures will be implemented to ensure the plant has raw materials, to efficiently utilize existing capacities, and to reduce the debt burden.
It is planned that by the end of the current year, the plant's utilization rate will rise from 40% to 65%, after which its increase will continue.
The President gave instructions to responsible persons regarding the implementation of major projects based on thorough financial accounting and clear funding sources, as well as paying special attention to improving the efficiency of network enterprises.
