Caroline Lewitt joins Fox News as contributor after working in Trump administration

Caroline Lewitt, a former close aide to American President Donald Trump, is starting a new career in television after her time in the White House. She will join Fox News as a contributor starting November 1st. The channel announced this on Monday.

During the Trump administration, Caroline Lewitt was known as a very energetic and outspoken communicator. Trump himself repeatedly praised her work. In a 2025 interview, he compared Caroline's speaking style to a 'machine gun,' noting her high speaking speed.

Susan Scott, CEO of Fox News, noted that Caroline's direct experience in the White House and during the presidential campaign gives her a unique understanding of the current political climate. Caroline, in turn, expressed enthusiasm for the new role. She stated that with her experience as a White House press secretary, she eagerly anticipates the opportunity to share her views with millions of Fox viewers, promising to speak with the same energy and directness.

Caroline Lewitt became the youngest person to hold this position in White House history, reaching it at the age of 29. She left the post of press secretary in August, and Fox News is now her next step.

It should also be noted that Caroline participated in Trump's 2024 presidential campaign as press secretary. From the campaign to the White House, she was a key figure in Trump's media strategy. Trump called her one of his most reliable allies.

This is not the first instance of a White House press secretary moving to Fox News. Kelly McEnany, the press secretary during Trump's first term, also worked at Fox News in 2021. On the other hand, many figures associated with Fox News held high positions in the Trump administration. Thus, Caroline Lewitt's joining the channel is seen as another link between the White House and Fox News.

Now Caroline will communicate directly with television viewers. Her experience in the White House and her understanding of the inner workings of the Trump administration are considered particularly valuable to Fox News.
