BMW launches special edition R 1300 GS Adventure in Manaus for R$ 219,990

BMW Motorrad has started selling the R 1300 GS Adventure 10Y Manaus, a limited edition celebrating the tenth anniversary of the German manufacturer's assembly line located in the Manaus Industrial Pole. This special series will consist of only ten units, corresponding to each year of the factory's operation, and its price is R$ 219,990.

This value is approximately R$ 73 thousand higher than the initial price of the R 1300 GS Adventure, which is available from R$ 146,990, as disclosed on the brand's website. The launch was presented during the BMW Motorrad Fest 2026 event, which also celebrated the 103rd anniversary of the group's motorcycle division.

Before its official launch, the motorcycle was exhibited to the public at the Interlagos Festival, where the company collected feedback from customers and dealerships. Based on this feedback, BMW opted to include side panniers in the package, which feature the same customization as the bike and maintain the visual identity of the top case.

Aesthetically, the special version is distinguished by the graphics applied to various parts, such as the tank, side panels, engine sump guard, valve cover protectors, top case, and side panniers. Furthermore, each of the ten units carries the inscription 'limited edition', accompanied by numbering from 01 to 10.

Mechanically, the large trail bike preserves the 1.3-liter two-cylinder boxer engine, which generates 145 hp and 15.2 kgfm. A notable feature is the Automated Shift Assistant (ASA), a system that electronically controls the clutch, allowing the rider to choose between automatic or manual gear shifts via the pedal. In standard configurations of the model, the automated gearbox is only offered in certain options.

The technological package also includes Dynamic Suspension Adjustment (DSA) electronic suspension adjustment, Active Cruise Control (ACC), in addition to front collision and lane change warnings.

The manufacturing plant in Manaus, inaugurated in 2016, is highlighted by BMW as the only one outside Germany within the group dedicated entirely to motorcycle production. With an area of about 15,000 m² and a capacity to produce up to 17,000 motorcycles annually, this factory is responsible for 99% of the BMW Motorrad portfolio sold in Brazil. The models produced range from the G 310 R, the brand's entry point in the country, to the superbikes S 1000 RR, covering the GS and RT families, and the R 12 line.
