Alnam Philharmonic will present Hans Zimmer's 'Interstellar' music in Tehran again

The Alnam Philharmonic, conducted by Vahid Alipour, plans to repeat the concert based on 'Interstellar' at the Milad Tower in Tehran following positive reviews of last year's performance.

Initially, this project was presented at Milad Tower in December 2025. It included a live performance of Hans Zimmer's acclaimed music from Christopher Nolan's film 'Interstellar', accompanied by visual effects and elements inspired by the movie.

The previous presentation attracted audiences because the live orchestral performance combined with appropriate visuals created a captivating experience based on the unique atmosphere of the film.

At the upcoming concert, the Alnam Philharmonic will once again perform selected pieces written by Zimmer for 'Interstellar' under Alipour's direction. The project aims to unite orchestral music, cinema, and a visual experience dedicated to space.

The concert is scheduled for October 10th at Milad Tower in Tehran. Leila Purmosavi serves as the project producer, and Behrood Soukhakian holds the position of concertmaster. Soheil Salimzadeh is the artistic director, Javad Abraham is the artistic consultant, and Mohammad Motlak is the technical director.

Hans Zimmer's musical score for 'Interstellar' is widely known for its characteristic combination of orchestral textures and organ sounds. This forms an expansive and atmospheric musical language that reflects the themes of space, time, and human connection in Christopher Nolan's 2014 film, which received an Academy Award nomination for Best Original Score.
