CFMoto will open dealership in Belo Horizonte in 2027 and supports the Minas Riders rally

CFMoto announced that it will establish a dealership in the city of Belo Horizonte starting in the first half of 2027. This operation will be conducted by Brasil Dealer Group (BDG), a Minas Gerais group with over thirty years of experience in the automotive sector, which has fifty stores distributed across four states and represents seventeen brands.

The management of the dealership will be under the responsibility of Rafael Horta, BDG's dealership manager. The group itself is led by Antônio Wagner Cunha Henriques and Bruno Luciano Henriques.

Urano Carvalho, director of the motorcycle division at CFMoto Brazil, explained that the choice of Minas Gerais was due to it being a 'natural consequence' given the state's importance to Brazilian motorcycling. He added that, besides the presence, finding a partner who aligned with the company's long-term vision was crucial.

This announcement is part of the Chinese manufacturer's expansion plan in Brazil. CFMoto has been in the country for over a decade, selling quadricycles and UTVs through Grupo Unique, but only started selling motorcycles in 2026. The brand's national line includes four models: the Ibex 450 and Ibex 700 trail bikes, and the CL-C 450 and CL-C 450 Bobber custom bikes.

The news was revealed during the opening of the Minas Riders 2026 event, a hard enduro race sponsored by CFMoto. The rally took place from September 29th to last Saturday (3rd), gathering about one hundred riders from eight nations. The race started in Ouro Preto, passed through locations such as Rio Acima and Nova Lima, and culminated at Mineirão in Belo Horizonte.

The competition was conceived by Austrian Martin Freinademetz, founder of Red Bull Romaniacs, which is held in Romania and recognized as one of the most demanding enduro races on the planet. During the event, CFMoto achieved victories in all three Adventure categories with the 450MT model, known as the Ibex 450 in other markets. Spanish rider Mario Roman, the brand's ambassador, secured the main title, the Adventure Ultimate, with a lead of almost fifteen minutes.

At the end of the race, the manufacturer organized an exhibition area and gifted the winners of two rally categories with two units of the Ibex 450. This trail bike has a 450cc twin-cylinder engine, generates 44 hp and 4.3 kgfm, and is sold for R$ 35,990.
