While some scientists are studying people's inclination towards songs by The Beatles, Russian researcher Vladimir Pislyakov conducted a study on how often proverbs and sayings appear in modern Russian scientific publications.
To conduct this analysis, the specialist selected ten of the most common sayings, whose frequency of use was tested in two different experiments.
