According to the portal PhoneArena, Samsung is investing in improving this technology for the next generation, with the goal of keeping the screen sharper and better defined even when privacy mode is active.
The Privacy Screen was initially introduced on the Galaxy S26 Ultra as one of the device's main innovations. This technology operates by controlling the light emission angle of the panel, making it difficult to view from the sides, essentially functioning as a privacy film integrated into the display.
However, Samsung itself admitted that the screen can appear darker when this feature is activated. Furthermore, as reported by Tecnoblog, consumers have reported issues related to the display tone of the Galaxy S26 Ultra.
This potential improvement is considered relevant because Samsung would be considering extending the availability of the Privacy Screen to the next line of devices.
