Tashkent Content Market presented itself at the forum in Baku

Tashkent Content Market (TCM) was introduced to the international media community on October 2 as part of the CICA Media Forum, which took place in Baku, Uzbekistan.

The event to present the new platform was held with the support of the Council for Media and Broadcasting of Azerbaijan. Representatives of the Azerbaijani media industry and participants of the international forum attended the event.

Tashkent Content Market was created as a platform for promoting content produced in Uzbekistan on the international market. The platform covers television, film, documentary, entertainment, and digital content.

Thanks to TCM, Uzbek producers will be able to showcase their projects to foreign TV channels, digital platforms, and production companies, as well as develop joint projects with international partners.

Among the participants of Tashkent Content Market are major international media companies and platforms such as Amazon MGM Studios, BBC Studios, CNN, Sony, Netflix, YouTube, Warner Bros., ZDF, Canal+, and TF1.

It is expected that this platform will expand access for Uzbek content creators to foreign audiences and new markets, fostering international cooperation. Tashkent Content Market is planned to become one of the leading content platforms in Central Asia.

The platform is expected to bring together TV channels, producers, distributors, and content rights holders from different countries on a single platform. Additional information about participating in Tashkent Content Market can be found on the website tcm.uz.

The 11th International Biennial of Contemporary Art, titled 'Event Horizon,' will take place in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The event is scheduled for October 12 to 16.

Exhibitions in the capital's leading museums and galleries will feature works by both Uzbek and international artists. The biennial's program also includes a trip to Samarkand, allowing foreign guests to combine exposure to contemporary art with the study of Uzbekistan's historical heritage.

The International Biennial in Tashkent has been held every two years since 2001. The theme of the current event focuses on the human condition at the threshold of technological and cultural transformations.

According to the biennial's concept, Tashkent, located at the crossroads of ancient caravan routes, is presented as an 'oasis' symbolizing hope and the search for new meanings.

The official opening will take place on October 12 at the Central Exhibition Hall. In the following days, exhibitions will be held at the Tashkent Photo House, the Kamoliddin Behzod Museum of Miniature Eastern Art, the State Museum of Arts of Uzbekistan, and the Ikou Hirayama International Cultural Caravanserai.

The biennial program will also include master classes, performances, and an international scientific and practical conference. A separate event will be the exhibition 'Charkpalak,' dedicated to the 35th anniversary of Uzbekistan's independence.

The biennial will conclude on October 16. It is worth noting that the 10th International Biennial of Contemporary Art, held in 2024, gathered over 40 international artists and participants from about 30 countries.
