The Minister of Mining and Geology of Uzbekistan, Bobir Islamov, held a meeting on October 3 with a delegation from the Turkish company Nakkaş Holding, headed by its CEO M. Islamoglu.
The parties discussed opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation and the implementation of joint investment projects in Uzbekistan's mining and geological sectors.
During the negotiations, particular attention was paid to the possible participation of Nakkaş Holding in geological surveys at promising sites. The expansion of the country's mineral resources base and the creation of modern processing facilities were also discussed.
Another area of discussion was the potential involvement of the company in the processing of technogenic waste and tailings. These areas were identified by the parties as possible avenues for further interaction in Uzbekistan's mining and geological industries.
