DLF, the country's largest real estate firm, announced the complete sale of its recently launched 'The Aureva' project, designed for senior citizens, as part of regulatory reporting.
On Saturday, DLF Ltd reported that it successfully sold all 172 senior living homes in Gurugram for a total of 1985 crore rupees, amid high demand for luxury residential properties.
The 'The Aureva' project spans an area of 4.17 acres and is located in Sector 63 of Gurugram. DLF noted that sales reached approximately 1985 crore rupees, indicating strong interest in meticulously curated luxury retirement communities that combine luxury, well-being, convenience, access to healthcare, and significant community involvement.
The average selling price was 11.5 crore rupees per apartment, with units sold at a rate of 28,000 rupees per square foot. This future project involves the development of 172 luxury residences totaling over 400,000 square feet, with a total sellable area exceeding 750,000 square feet.
Aakash Ohri, Managing Director and Chief Business Officer of DLF Home Developers Ltd, stated that this project embodies 'DLF's vision to redefine elite housing for retirees in India.' The project will feature a professionally managed on-site medical center with emergency response support.
Ohri also emphasized that the high market efficiency of this project demonstrates the growing demand for experience-oriented premium housing offerings in the Indian segment.
Previously, DLF had developed over 185 real estate projects with a total area exceeding 352 million square feet. However, in 2025–26, DLF Ltd's booking or pre-sales declined by 5 percent, amounting to 20,143 crore rupees compared to a record 21,223 crore rupees in the previous fiscal year. The company has projected annual bookings of 20,000 crore rupees for the current fiscal year 2026–27.
In the first quarter of the current fiscal year, DLF's bookings sharply dropped by 94 percent year-on-year to 657 crore rupees. The group possesses a development potential of 275 million square feet in residential and commercial sectors, including current projects. Furthermore, the company holds a portfolio of 50 million square feet of annuities.
