According to the PTI agency, citing officials, Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) commander Mohammad Asif, known by the alias Hashim Musa, used pure honey to treat gunshot wounds while sheltering in the forests of Jammu and Kashmir.
This LeT leader, who was the chief operational commander in the Pahalgam region, was eliminated by the Army during a high-altitude operation in Yusmarg, Budgam, earlier this week. It is also suggested that he previously served in the commando unit of the Pakistan Army Special Services Group (SSG).
