President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree and resolution concerning a number of personnel changes in the structures of the Presidential Administration and in the recently established department.
Obid Khakimov was appointed to the position of Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration, responsible for education reform issues. Concurrently, he was approved for the post of Rector of 'New Uzbekistan' University on a concurrent basis. Previously, Khakimov held the position of presidential advisor on economic policy but was subsequently relieved of this duty.
Ilhom Siradjev was also appointed as Deputy Minister of Education and Science, overseeing compliance and internal anti-corruption control issues. As a result of this appointment, he was relieved of his former position as Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration for education reform matters.
Furthermore, Kamoliddin Mardonov was appointed as an advisor to the President of Uzbekistan on economic policy. Before this, he worked as the First Deputy Head of the Department of Legal Expertise and Comprehensive Analysis of the Presidential Administration.
