For preparation, you will need: 1 cup of chenna, 200 grams of flour, 50 grams of suji, 100 grams of hoy, 5 grams of green cardamom, 1 liter of sugar syrup, ghee or oil for frying, and a mix of nuts for garnish.
First, mix the chenna, flour, suji, hoy, and green cardamom in a large bowl. Then, gradually add water as needed to create a thick mixture. It is important to ensure that the batter is neither too runny nor too thick.
After this, the batter must be thoroughly beaten until it is smooth and lump-free. Next, heat the ghee or oil for frying in a pot. Pour the prepared mixture into a jalebi making bottle. Into the hot oil or ghee, drop the jalebis in circular shapes and fry on both sides until golden and crispy.
The finished jalebis are removed from the pot and immediately placed into the hot sugar syrup. They are left in the syrup for some time to soak up the sweetness. After this, the paneer jalebi is placed on a plate and served hot, garnished with chopped nuts.
