Nestlé India Low Fat Dairy Whitener, a milk-containing product, was declared 'unsafe and substandard' by the Indian food safety regulatory body (FSSAI), according to information released on Saturday.
A sample of this product was collected at The LaLiT hotel, located in Connaught Place.
A representative from Nestlé India stated that phosphorus is a natural component of milk and is therefore present in milk-based products.
