The counting of the results of the 'Initiative Budget' project implementation for eleven past seasons has concluded in Uzbekistan. During this period, 24,846 projects were recognized as winners, with a total funding volume of 25.6 trillion soms.
From 2021 to 2026, projects in 7,484 mahallas received funding. In particular, in 2026, 3,667 mahallas became winners; among them, 681 mahallas won for the first time, and 446 supported initiatives concerned territories with difficult socio-economic conditions.
As a result of the work carried out, 4,414 schools were renovated and 3,145 educational institutions were equipped. Additionally, 17,513 kilometers of internal roads were repaired, and 1,276 medical institutions were repaired and 1,391 were modernized.
In 2026, 495 projects were recognized as winners thanks to deputies' initiatives. Also, 152 winners were determined within the framework of partnership initiatives with joint financing, while residents themselves contributed 9.8 billion soms.
