The film 'Drishyam 3: The Conclusion' concludes the 11-year story of Vijay Salgaonkar's family case. Audiences enjoy watching how an uneducated person circumvents officials to protect his family, and there is huge buzz surrounding the film.
The Indian version of 'Drishyam 3' showed record collections on its first day, giving Ajay a stellar start to his career. The net collection was 62 crore, and global collections reached 95 crore. The film received significant support due to the public holiday dedicated to Gandhi Day, which fell on October 2nd. In the following Saturday week, the movie also maintained strong positions at the box office.
According to Saavnlic data, in just a day and a half, 'Drishyam 3' surpassed the mark of 100 crore in net revenue. On the second day, the film collected 53.50 crore in net revenue, bringing the total income to 115.50 crore. The film's worldwide income reached 177.10 crore. There is also noted good interest in 'Drishyam 3' outside India, and it is expected to enter the club of films with box office collections of 200 crore on Sunday.
The film's earnings over two days exceeded the total net collection of 'Drishyam 2' during its first two weekends. Speaking of the highest two-day collection in Hindi, 'Dhurandhar Da Revenge' ranks first. It is followed by 'Pushpa 2' with a net collection of about 127.20 crore. Now, 'Drishyam 3' holds the third spot with 115.50 crore, and below it is Shah Rukh Khan's 'Jaan', which collected 111.73 crore over two days.
Nevertheless, despite the high figures, there is a slight drop in collections on Saturday compared to Friday, which appears unexpected. Sunday is a very important day for the film; if 'Drishyam: The Conclusion' collects more than 50 crore on the third day, it will be able to compete with other major Hindi films in the following days. The question remains whether Ajay Devgn will get his first film with box office collections of 500 crore, or if he will have to wait longer.
