A case of mass fish death has been recorded in the capital's Salar canal. After information about the incident appeared on social media, representatives of the Main Directorate of Ecology and Climate Change of Tashkent were dispatched to the site.

Inspectors began surveying the area to establish all circumstances of what happened. Employees of the Department of Environmental Monitoring, Climate Change Adaptation, and Hydrometeorology took water samples from the canal for subsequent laboratory study.
