The modernization of the public transport system in the city of Namangan is continuing, and the number of modern buses in the city has reached 130 units.
In accordance with Presidential Decree No. PP-59 dated February 16, 2023, entrepreneurs imported 108 modern buses to Namangan. These vehicles are used for passenger transport on 10 routes under a gross contract system.
The share of environmentally friendly transport is also growing. In particular, Firdavs trans servis LLC acquired 12 Yutong buses. The regional administration reported that this acquisition allowed for the creation of more than 25 new jobs.
The ceremony for presenting the new buses was held with the participation of the Governor of the Namangan region, Shavkatgon Abdurazzakov, heads of law enforcement agencies, and responsible representatives of relevant organizations. During the event, participants familiarized themselves with the technical specifications and amenities of the new vehicles, and discussed issues of bus operation on city routes.
Furthermore, in September, Turon-95 MBI LLC put into operation another 10 Zhongtong electric buses. Thus, the renewal of Namangan's bus fleet is being carried out by introducing modern and environmentally friendly types of transport.
