Uzbek midfielder Otabek Shukurov has signed an agreement with the Serbian club Radnik Surdulica. This was announced by the club's press service on October 2nd. Shukurov, who is 28 years old, will join the team as a free agent.
According to the club's information, the footballer has already completed all necessary procedures to start working with his new teammates. Radnik Surdulica participates in the Serbian SuperLiga championship. After ten rounds of the championship, the team is in sixth place in the standings with 14 points.
The Serbian club has not lost at home this season. Shukurov's debut for the new team is expected after the international break. One possible option is an away match against IMT from Loznica in upcoming championship rounds.
Radnik intends to utilize the experience of the Uzbek midfielder in the center of the field, including organizing attacks. Previously, Shukurov considered offers from other foreign clubs, but ultimately decided to continue his career in the Serbian championship.
This move to Radnik Surdulica marks a new stage in the 28-year-old footballer's club career and will allow him to continue participating in European football.
