The government of Pernambuco announced last Friday (2) the holding of a public competition aimed at the Civil Police, offering a total of 1,315 opportunities. The available positions include agent, clerk, and delegate, with remuneration reaching R$ 13.5 thousand.
The distribution of vacancies is as follows: 1,200 positions are allocated to the agent role, 70 to the clerk role, and 45 to the delegate role. The period for online registration is open from October 15 to December 16. Objective and essay evaluations have been scheduled for March 7 and 14, 2027, and will take place in the cities of Recife, Caruaru, Arcoverde, and Petrolina.
The official notice establishes specific quotas for minority groups: 5% of the vacancies are reserved for people with disabilities, 25% for Black and Brown people, 3% for indigenous people, and 2% for quilombolas.
The selection process for the Civil Police will comprise several phases. Initially, there will be objective and essay exams, followed by a medical examination. Physical and psychological aptitude tests will also be administered, in addition to a social investigation that requires the presentation of documents, such as negative certificates from the Federal Justice and Electoral Justice.
For candidates applying for the delegate position, the process also includes an oral exam and a title evaluation. Those competing for the clerk vacancy must take a practical typing test.
Finally, the second phase of the competition will be the Professional Training Course, which will be conducted by the Secretariat of Social Defense of Pernambuco (SDS).
