Chamber of Deputies launches contest for legislative analyst with salaries up to R$ 32 thousand

The Chamber of Deputies released the notice for a new public examination aimed at the legislative analyst career last Friday (2), one of the most competitive positions in the federal public service.

The contest offers a total of 66 immediate vacancies and 118 for reserve registration, with starting salaries that can reach R$ 32,070.88, and the positions are located in Brasília. The opportunities are aimed at professionals with a degree in 11 different areas.

Interested parties must register between October 15 and November 17, using the Cebraspe portal, which is the institution responsible for conducting the selection. The registration fee is R$ 130.

The evaluation stages, which include objective and essay tests, are scheduled for January 17, 2027. It is important to note that the tests will be administered in all capital cities of the country and in the Federal District, allowing candidates from any part of Brazil to participate without needing to travel to Brasília.

The vacancies were distributed in crucial sectors of the Chamber of Deputies, such as social communication, documentation and legislative information, engineering, museology, and parliamentary work registry. Among the available positions are journalist, public relations specialist, archivist, librarian, museumologist, and engineers of various specialties.

In addition to the attractive remuneration, the contest attracts attention due to the stability and benefits granted to the servants of the House. Those approved will join the permanent staff of the institution, performing technical and specialized functions essential to the functioning of the Legislative Branch.

Contest Schedule

The detailed schedule of the contest foresees several important dates: on October 5, 2026, there will be the disclosure of rules for the drawing of reserved vacancies, followed by the draw on October 8, 2026, and the publication of the final result of this draw on October 14, 2026. The period to request exemption from the fee will be from October 15 to October 23, 2026, while registrations will take place from October 15 to November 17, 2026, with the final deadline for fee payment on November 19, 2026.

Other relevant dates include checking the test locations on December 22, 2026, taking the objective and essay tests on January 17, 2027, and the release of preliminary answer keys between January 19 and January 22, 2027. The result of the objective tests will be released on February 18, 2027, the provisional result of the essay tests on April 9, 2027, and the conclusion of the process with the final contest result on April 30, 2027.
