The event named 'Picnic in the Square' will feature theater, music, and storytelling sessions aimed at the child audience. The event will take place at Praça Dom Cristiano, known as Praça da Catedral, located in the Center of Divinópolis, this Saturday, the 3rd, with a scheduled start time of 2 PM.
According to information released by the City Hall, participation in the event is free, and attendees are asked to bring their own snacks. The organizers also allowed participants to use towels and mats on the ground during the picnic.
The main objective of this initiative is to promote greater closeness between the population and cultural activities, stimulate the use of public spaces, and create opportunities for social interaction within the community.
Program
Among the scheduled performances, the play titled 'Pinocchio', produced by Cia Descarga Produções Culturais, stands out. This production brings the classic character through several generations, presenting a spectacle rich in fantasy and imagination, designed to captivate both children and adults.
The cultural agenda will also include the presentation 'The Adventures of Dolls Li and Lu', which will be a playful, colorful, and interactive show. Furthermore, there will be the attraction 'Singing Goes, Story Comes! – Story to Play', a format that combines music, narratives, and games, inviting children to experience an activity based on creativity and imagination.
For the youngest, the show 'The Friends of the Patrol and the Pollution Villain' will be available. This show combines entertainment and awareness, conveying to the audience, in a didactic and light manner, the importance of caring for the environment.
