Midfielder Otabek Shukurov of the Uzbekistan national team has continued his football career at the Serbian club Radnik Surdulica. This deal was announced on October 2nd by the sports organization's press service.

The 28-year-old athlete, who previously played as a free agent, signed an official contract with a representative of the Serbian SuperLiga. Local media view this transfer as one of the most significant and high-profile in the club's history. The player has already prepared all necessary conditions for integration into the new team.

It is expected that the midfielder's debut will occur after the international break in upcoming championship matches, possibly in an away game against the IMT club from Loznica. Currently, Radnik Surdulica is in sixth place in the Serbian championship standings, with 14 points after 10 rounds. Furthermore, the team maintains an undefeated record at its home stadium this season.

The acquisition of Shukurov aims to strengthen the central line of the Serbian team and improve attacking potential. Despite interest from several other foreign clubs, the Uzbek footballer chose to participate in the Serbian championship, which will provide him with the opportunity to play regularly and maintain the necessary form for national team games.
