Uberlândia and Uberaba Cultural Agenda: Léo Santana, Oktoberfest, and Adriana Birolli in this weekend's highlights

The month of October began with a rich cultural schedule in Uberlândia, bringing together various events that will move the city this weekend. The agenda ranges from large shows and festivals to theatrical performances, fairs, and free activities, catering to diverse audiences. The events are scheduled for Friday (2nd), Saturday (3rd), and Sunday (4th).

In Uberlândia, the 14th Oktoberfest of Benedith will take place on October 2nd and 3rd, starting at 5 pm, at Bar da Benedith, located at Avenida Getúlio Vargas, 2100. This edition, organized by Cervejaria Benedith, celebrates German tradition with music, craft beer, and gastronomy. The schedule includes a tribute to Barão Vermelho on Friday (2nd), featuring Diano Ilha and Banda, and a tribute to Bon Jovi on Saturday (3rd), presented by the band Locomotiva 34, from Uberaba. Entry is free.

Other attractions in Uberlândia include the Casa da Misericórdia Charity Bazaar, which will take place on October 2nd, from 9 am to 5 pm, at Rua Maria Quitéria 925, Umuarama Neighborhood, raising funds through donations of clothes, footwear, and groceries for the São Francisco de Assis care home.

On October 3rd and 4th, the Coletivo Flores de Teatro will present the play 'Flores Arrancadas à Névoa' at the Grupontapé headquarters (Rua Tupaciguara, 471, Nossa Senhora Aparecida Neighborhood). The production, marking the group's 10th anniversary, addresses themes such as exile and identity, and will have a session on Saturday with Libras interpretation. At the Municipal Market (Rua Olegário Maciel, 255), the band Funk-se will perform at 8 pm on October 2nd. Additionally, Circo Coletivo Payaso Sem Teto will premiere the play 'Mundaréu' at 7:30 pm at Cineteatro Nininha Rocha, with tickets starting from R$ 10.

For those seeking art and reflection, the play 'HumanIdAde' will be shown at 3 pm at the Grupontapé Free School, addressing the impacts of new technologies. On October 3rd, the 10th edition of The Music Beach, at Unitri (Avenida Nicomedes Alves dos Santos, 4.545, Gávea neighborhood), will feature Léo Santana, Dilsinho, and Ferrugem, with tickets starting from R$ 125. On October 3rd, the Miss & Mister contest will be held at 4 pm at CEU Shopping Park Theater, selecting representatives from the city in various categories. There will also be the 'Picadeiro da Felicidade' show by Academia Aquazan at 5 pm at Cineteatro Nininha Rocha, and the annual show of the Uai Q Dança school, 'Tardezinha', at the Uberlândia Municipal Theater, at 5 pm, with tickets starting from R$ 65.

Festa Millennial, at London Pub, will feature the band Black Violet at 11 pm, and the Creative Market, at Vila Pau à Pique, will gather exhibitors and the band Dama de Espada on October 3rd. Finally, the 13th Uberlândia Ceramics Fair will take place on October 3rd, from 10 am to 9 pm, at Pátio Sabiá, featuring 14 local exhibitors.

On Sunday (4th) of October, the 'A Banda no Parque' project, by the Municipal Symphony Band, will bring instrumental music to Sabiá Park at 10 am, free of charge.

In Uberaba, the 2nd edition of ARES Uberaba will take place on Saturday (3rd) of October, from 1 pm to 11 pm, at Praça Pôr do Sol. The free event offers cultural activities, musical performances, exhibitions, gastronomy, and areas dedicated to children and pets, including attractions such as Circonfiarte and Jack Will.
