Chinese brand DENZA prepares to enter the Indian market with the launch of luxury vehicles

The Indian automotive market will soon see a new brand. The appearance of this brand, which is a sub-brand of an existing company, has been confirmed. This concerns Denza, which will soon introduce its first vehicle in India.

Denza is a luxury brand of BYD. The company has confirmed its intention to enter the Indian market by releasing its first teaser. Although it is not yet determined which specific model the company will choose for its debut, two models from BYD Denza are actively being discussed: one MPV and another high-performance electric fastback.

Initially, the company may present the Denza D9, a luxury electric MPV, and the Denza Z9 GT. Both models will arrive as CBU (Completely Built Units) and will be sold in exclusive Denza showrooms. These vehicles will be more expensive than existing BYD models and will offer a more premium driving experience.

The Denza teaser did not showcase any specific model, and the company has not announced the date of the first launch. Regarding the Denza D9, it will be a premium seven-seater MPV that will compete with the MG M9, Mercedes-Benz V-Class, Toyota Vellfire, and Lexus LM.

The dimensions of the D9 are 5250 mm in length, 1960 mm in width, and 1920 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3110 mm. The exterior of the car will feature a modern and elegant design, including a motion front grille, full-width LED headlights, power-operated doors, soft-closing doors, a large panoramic sunroof, and 18-inch alloy wheels.

Inside the D9, there is a central 15.9-inch touchscreen, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a passenger display, and an interactive rear entertainment screen. The car can be equipped with a battery capacity ranging from 103 to 115 kWh, providing a claimed range of up to 800 kilometers.

The second model, the Denza Z9 GT, is a five-seater vehicle measuring 5195 mm in length, 1990 mm in width, and 1490 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3125 mm. The design of the Z9 GT will follow the style of Wolfgang Egger. This model will be equipped with a high-performance triple motor setup and a battery capacity of 100 to 122.5 kWh. It will deliver up to 850 kW of power and 1100 Nm of torque. The maximum speed of the Z9 GT will be 270 km/h, and the acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h will take between 2.7 and 3.4 seconds.

The taillights will be equipped with sequential turn indicators. As part of the update, new paint color options will also be offered. The interior design of the car will undergo minimal changes, but the infotainment system will increase from 10 inches to 10.1 inches. It should be noted that the starting price of the current Slavia is 9.99 lakh rupees, and the price up to the showroom reaches 18.29 lakh rupees, while the cost of the new Slavia may be slightly higher.

Renault Triber Turbo is preparing for release to compete with Maruti Suzuki Ertiga due to fuel efficiency and affordability

Those planning to purchase a new family car are advised to wait a little longer, as several new models are expected to be released in the Indian market in the coming days. Among them is the Renault Triber Turbo, which has long been in demand by consumers.

Although the company has not announced a precise launch date for this model, there are speculations that the release could happen before the Diwali festival. Despite lacking a direct competitor in the market, considering the budget and cabin capacity, its main competition will be with the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga.

The Maruti Suzuki Ertiga is one of the best-selling seven-seater MPVs, chosen by buyers for its CNG compatibility, good fuel economy, and large space. Although many people also buy the Renault Triber, they often complain about the engine of this vehicle.

It is anticipated that the company may equip this model with a turbocharged gasoline engine. The possibility of installing a 1.0-liter three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine, which is also used in the Kiger and Nissan Magnite models, is being discussed. There is currently no information on whether Renault will tune this engine specifically for the Triber. In the Kiger, this engine develops 100 hp and 160 Nm of torque.

With the new engine, the company might offer a five-speed manual transmission and a CVT. Additionally, the possibility of releasing the Renault Triber with a factory CNG kit is being discussed. The company could potentially use a two-cylinder CNG system, and only the manual transmission would be offered with the CNG kit.

Currently, the Triber is equipped with a 1.0-liter naturally aspirated three-cylinder engine. The car's price ranges from 5.81 to 8.53 lakh at the export price. It is expected that the introduction of the turbocharged engine will lead to an increase in the car's price. Although the release date is unknown, the company might present it by the end of next month.

Tata to introduce new Aeris model competing with Maruti Suzuki Dzire

Tata Motors has changed its identity by rebranding as Tata Cars. As part of the new concept, the company is preparing to launch a new vehicle that will be a direct competitor to the Maruti Suzuki Dzire, which has long dominated the sedan market. This refers to the Tata Aeris model, the launch of which is scheduled for this week.

The company began announcing this model, and its official premiere will take place on September 25th. The Tata Aeris will replace the existing Tigor model. Through this car, Tata aims to improve sales figures in the budget sedan segment.

In the latest teaser, Tata Aeris conveyed the message 'Start Scoring, Stop Being Boring,' suggesting a possible change in the company's approach to vehicle design. The teaser shows that the car will feature projector headlights combined with integrated elegant LED daytime running lights. Instead of the chrome grille found on the Tigor, the Aeris will have a glossy black panel connecting the headlights. The car will be presented in a new light purple metallic color that the company is actively promoting.

Furthermore, the Aeris will be equipped with wheels featuring a new design, on which the Tata logo will be placed. The rear might feature pixel-style taillights, and vertical and horizontal elements may be added to give a more dynamic feel. Although this is not yet confirmed, the design might include a sequential turn signal function. The Aeris will have a 3D lettering inscription on the rear.

The company also presented the interior of the Tata Aeris. The cabin features a 10.25-inch touchscreen multimedia system, a two-spoke steering wheel, and a fully digital instrument cluster. The interior will be finished in light tones, and the Aeris dashboard largely resembles the updated Tata Tiago Facelift model. The car will have rear air vents for the air conditioner, a 360-degree camera system, a Type-C charging port, and a new climate control unit. Control buttons are clearly visible in the teaser, and wireless charging, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay will be available.

The Tata Aeris will be fitted with a 1.2-liter petrol engine, previously used in the Tigor. This engine is capable of producing 83 horsepower and 113 Nm of torque. Options are available with a 5-speed manual transmission and an automatic transmission (AMT). Considering the competition from Maruti, the introduction of a CNG version is likely. This model will be available with a dual-cylinder CNG in the CNG + AMT configuration, providing additional trunk space.
