This week, the simultaneous construction of twelve modern educational institutions began in Tashkent. This project is being carried out in partnership with the construction company NRG-BI.
The new schools are planned to be located in eleven out of the city's twelve districts, with the exception of Bektemirsky. Two schools are planned for construction in the Yangikhay district. The total construction period is eight months, after which approximately 18 thousand new places for students will be available by the start of the next academic year.
According to information from the capital's hokimiyat press service, these educational institutions will meet a new format: they will be technological, ergonomic, comfortable, and inclusive. The projects are developed in three different types, taking into account modern architectural solutions and necessary infrastructure.
Deputy Hokim of the city, Durdona Rakhimova, specified that the capacity of each of these schools will range from 1500 to 2000 places. Nurbol Shalkenov, Managing Director of NRG-BI, noted that the school design is based on international standards and current teaching methodologies. These buildings will be five stories high and consist of seven educational blocks, which can potentially be connected to existing schools.
In addition, a concept was developed for the construction of sixteen modern kindergartens, which, according to Durdona Rakhimova, will be presented in five different types.
