Zeca Pagodinho, Alcione, Jorge Aragão and Jovem Dionísio perform at cultural events in the Federal District

The Federal District hosted several cultural attractions during the first weekend of October. One of the highlights was the event titled 'The Biggest Samba Meeting,' featuring Zeca Pagodinho, Alcione, and Jorge Aragão, held at Na Praia Parque this Saturday (3).

On the same day, the band Jovem Dionísio performed at Infinu. For stand-up comedy enthusiasts, Renato Albani presented his new show, 'Save Yourself If You Can,' at the Ulysses Guimarães Convention Center.

The cultural agenda also included performances by Buraco do Jazz, Life Expo Wellness, and various theatrical plays. Below, we detail the activities scheduled between Friday (2) and Sunday (4) in the Federal District.

Cultural Program in the Federal District

The artists Zeca Pagodinho, Alcione, and Jorge Aragão came to Brasília on Saturday (3) for a show focused on a repertoire that narrates the trajectory of Brazilian music. The concept of 'The Biggest Samba Meeting' was based on the premise that the genre strengthens when its references and stories share the same stage. The repertoire includes songs such as 'Eu e Você Sempre,' 'A Loba,' 'Sufoco,' 'Não Sou Mais Disso,' and 'Lama nas Ruas,' providing an exciting dynamic through the union of classics and artistic timbres.

In another attraction, the band Jovem Dionísio, originally from Curitiba, brought its tour of the album 'Migalhas' to Infinu in Brasília, also on Saturday (3). This album, released in April 2026, marks a departure from the sound of previous successes, proposing a more introspective and immersive performance. 'Migalhas' was recorded entirely live, inviting the audience to experience a studio environment with the band.

Renato Albani made his debut in Brasília with the show 'Save Yourself If You Can' this Saturday (3), at the Ulysses Guimarães Convention Center. The comedian uses memories of a less perfect childhood, but lived lightly, as a contrast to the wear and tear of contemporary life. Addressing themes such as expectations, relationships, and the pressures of modern life, he shares humorous observations and personal stories.

Buraco do Jazz is concluding its ten-year season this October, preparing a farewell that unites music, nature, and the public. The meetings are scheduled weekly on Thursdays and Fridays at the Três Poderes Cultural Center. The first farewell weekend will feature the Serpa Blues Band on Friday (2), starting at 6 PM, in a free event with voluntary contribution.

Life Expo Wellness remains in Brasília and announced the Extra Weekend, adding two days of programming at Parque da Cidade, on Friday (2) and Saturday (3). Participants can enjoy all the activities of the first edition, including Arena Cycling, Kangoo Jump classes, functional fight, meditation, yoga, mobility, futmesa, altinha, and the Recovery Area with massage, sauna, skin cleansing, and ice bath services. On Friday, the event runs from 4 PM to 9 PM, and on Saturday, from 8 AM to 6 PM, maintaining its free admission and using Parque da Cidade Parking 11 as the meeting point.

Poetic Pilgrimage Gathering at Sesc Ceilândia

This Saturday (3), Sesc Ceilândia will host the fourth itinerant edition of the Romaria Poética gathering. The program is diverse, encompassing sung and spoken verses, music, dance, puppetry theater, painting, circus, and a creative fair, accessible to all age groups.

In addition to shows and recitations, there will be a Creative Economy Fair, a stick dance workshop led by Silvia Salim, and live canvas painting with Xande. The event will take place on Saturday (3), from 4 PM to 11 PM, at Sesc Ceilândia, with free entry.

Rita Lee Celebration Project at Eye Patch Panda

The Rita Lee Celebration project will premiere at Eye Patch Panda this Saturday (3). The musical journey proposed spans from Mutantes, through Tutti Frutti, to the great hits of Rita Lee's solo career and her collaborations with Roberto de Carvalho. Songs such as 'Top Top,' 'Agora Só Falta Você,' and 'Mania de Você' define the tone of this intimate presentation.

The band comprising the project includes Michele Chitko (vocals), Paulo Veríssimo (guitar/vocals), Renato Azambuja (percussion/vocals), Ivo Portela (bass/vocals), Marcos Henrique (keyboard), and Maicon Vasconcelos (drums), promising an evening full of rock'n'roll energy and celebration of one of the greatest figures in Brazilian rock.

'The Brave Little Monster' at Teatro Brasília Shopping

In tribute to Children's Month, Teatro Brasília Shopping organized a special program for families, presenting shows that combine fantasy, humor, and uplifting messages. During the month, the Néia e Nando Theater Company will exhibit narratives that encourage young people to explore new discoveries, friendships, courage, and imagination.

The program begins this Saturday (3) and Sunday (4) with 'The Brave Little Monster.' The play follows a family of monsters who decide to migrate to a completely different environment: the human world. The narrative seeks to convey the idea that living in different contexts is a chance to meet new people and learn from the unknown, showing that differences should not create barriers and that coexistence can be enriching.
