Bajaj Auto has released its new motorcycle model, the Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z. In this updated version, the manufacturer has added a TFT instrument panel and additional connectivity features.
Previously, Bajaj implemented similar updates in the Pulsar N160 SS model. The updated Pulsar offers various functions such as music control, document storage, and lap timer, which can be viewed on the display. Furthermore, the company did not change the design, maintaining the previous mechanical characteristics.
The Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z model was introduced with a price of 1.90 lakh rupees including export tax. The updated Pulsar is equipped with a 5-inch TFT instrument cluster, which includes numerous connected functions. Among these is the Google Maps mirroring feature, assisting the rider with navigation.
The TFT display also allows control over four riding modes and the traction control system. Additionally, the new motorcycle features a USB Type-C charging port and a panic braking alert function. The motorcycle is equipped with a bidirectional quick shifter, which facilitates gear shifting without using the clutch.
It is also equipped with dual-channel ABS. Due to the installation of the new TFT screen, the motorcycle's cost increased by four thousand rupees. Mechanically, the motorcycle remains the same: it has a 349cc four-valve DOHC liquid-cooled engine that generates 40 horsepower and 33 Nm of torque.
The model is fitted with a 6-speed gearbox. Regarding the suspension, the motorcycle has an upside-down front fork with a travel of 43 mm. Both the front and rear of the motorcycle are equipped with disc brakes and a dual-channel ABS system. The Google Maps mirroring function provides the rider with navigation-related information on the TFT display.
