Work continues in the Surkhandarya region to ensure the population has high-quality and stable internet access, expand mobile network coverage, and modernize telecommunication infrastructure.
According to plans, 269 new base stations will be installed within the region in 2025, of which 66 will undergo modernization. During the past period of 2026, an additional 57 stations were put into operation, and work is underway to update 147 of them.
