Changes have occurred in the management boards of two state banks in Uzbekistan: deputies to the chairmen of Turonbank and Microcreditbank were dismissed.
By decision of Turonbank, the powers of Zokhijon Obidov, who held the position of deputy chairman of the Turonbank board, were terminated early on September 29.
Additionally, Sodir Melibayev, deputy chairman of the Microcreditbank board, was dismissed.
According to the Turonbank resolution, this decision was made in connection with the fulfillment of tasks outlined in the instruction issued by the Deputy Prime Minister on September 16, as well as a critical letter from the Central Bank dated September 4.
