The case of the death of the storyteller Prem Anand Maharaj's student attracted public attention. His student, Dipak Lodhi, also known as Rasik Sharan Dulari, committed suicide by jumping from the fourth floor of the Guru Kripa Kundh ashram on September 25. Initially, the police classified the incident as suicide after the video footage from the scene was released.
However, the results of the post-mortem examination revealed more serious details. According to the report, Dipak's genitals were injured, and he died from hemorrhagic shock caused by massive bleeding due to severe injuries sustained before death.
According to the National Institute of Health (NIH) report, hemorrhagic shock occurs due to sudden and significant blood loss in the body. This leads to unstable blood pressure and impaired circulation, as well as increasing the risk of oxygen deficiency in tissues and blood cells. As a result of this condition, organs can be damaged, potentially leading to death, because hemorrhagic shock can very quickly cause a person's death.
Saving a life with hemorrhagic shock is possible with timely treatment. The primary task is to stop the bleeding and attempt to restore the body's blood level. Treatment depends on the severity of the shock, i.e., the volume of blood lost. Therefore, it is extremely important to get the victim to the hospital as soon as possible. Doctors note that in critical stages of hemorrhagic shock, fluid preparations such as crystalloids or colloids, as well as blood products, can be effective for saving lives.
The autopsy of Dipak Lodhi established that his genitals were injured. The deceased's body was found in a completely restrained state. Dipak sustained serious head injuries requiring 14 stitches. Due to the fall, his lower lip was torn on the left side, and there were also signs of trauma on his chin. Five stitches were made due to damage to the root of the genital organ.
Furthermore, serious ankle and leg injuries with bone fractures were discovered. Blood clots were also found in the back of the skull. There is a linear fracture in the skull with blood accumulation underneath. Rib fractures were found from the 5th to the 8th on the left side. The left lung was punctured, and both lungs had a yellowish tint.
