Actor Lalit Prabhakar played the role of Kasab in the film 'Prahar'

The film 'Prahar – The Ujjwal Nikam Story', starring Rajkumar Rao, has generated significant interest. This legal drama is based on the events of the Mumbai terror attacks on November 26th.

The movie depicts the arguments of lawyer Ujjwal Nikam in court, who helped bring Kasab to the gallows. The role of Kasab was played by Marathi actor Lalit Prabhakar.

Lalit is a well-known actor in Marathi cinema and has worked in television, film, and digital projects. He began his career in 2008 with a Marathi television show. His recognition in Marathi cinema came through his participation in the television show Julun Yeti Reshimgathi in 2013.

The actor's father is a professor, and his mother is a teacher. Lalit was interested in acting from childhood and participated in many Marathi plays. Before 'Prahar', he appeared in Hindi films Ground Zero and One To Cha Cha Chha.

However, 'Prahar' promises to be a turning point for him in the Hindi industry. He looks promising in the role of Kasab, and his presence on screen is palpable. Lalit told Etimes that he auditioned for the role of Kasab, and it was a challenging endeavor for him. Before taking charge of RAW, R.N. Kao headed the Aeronautical Research Centre of the Intelligence Bureau. He also closely collaborated with the then Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru. Kao participated in many confidential intelligence operations and played an important role in the events related to the formation of Bangladesh in 1971.
