The results of an integrated analysis of clinical trials conducted by researchers from four different countries demonstrated the effectiveness of low-dose radiotherapy in treating early knee osteoarthritis.
According to the data obtained, the application of this method allows for slowing the development of structural changes in the joints and reducing the likelihood of long-term disability in patients.
These scientific findings were presented at the annual meeting of the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO 2026) and simultaneously published in the International Journal of Radiation Oncology.
