ANY Mobility launched LUV1, a customizable electric motorcycle capable of reaching 100 km/h

With the evolution of electric vehicle technology, electric cars, motorcycles, and bicycles have become common in the market. In this context, the Belgian company ANY Mobility introduced the LUV1, an electric motorcycle that allows buyers to customize the vehicle's settings at the time of purchase, adjusting it to the desired function.

The concept of the LUV1 aims to combine the functionality of a motorcycle with adaptable features for various needs. The model can be configured for cargo transport, urban commuting, or leisure activities, using accessories and compartments that vary according to the choice made during purchase. The LUV1's structure was designed to meet different consumer profiles, offering four sales modes: daily use, family, leisure, and work.

For daily use, the LUV1 stands out for its storage spaces. Urban differentials include compartments integrated into the doors, bags located on the front of the motorcycle for small items, and a charging support for mobile phones.

In the 'family mode' configuration, the vehicle has features designed to facilitate the transport of pets and objects. It is possible to equip the LUV1 with a larger opening in the cargo area and specific accessories for dogs.

In a professional capacity, the cargo space can be organized with doors, bags, and shelves to accommodate various types of equipment and products. For leisure and travel purposes, ANY provides accessories focused on luggage and other belongings transport. In all situations, the base is the same structure, with equipment adapted to the specific purpose.

The motorcycle's total storage capacity is 120 liters in any mode, an aspect that ANY Mobile points out as a differential compared to traditional electric motorcycles. It is important to note that this customization must occur before purchase, as there is no possibility of changing the configuration after the vehicle is ready.

Performance and Technical Specifications

Despite its focus on practicality, the LUV1 was developed to reach high speeds. According to ANY, the model features a motor positioned in the rear wheel hub, generating a maximum power of 11 kW and reaching speeds of up to 100 km/h.

The vehicle's range varies between 100 and 140 kilometers, depending on usage conditions. To ensure this distance, it uses two removable batteries with a combined capacity of 6.5 kWh. The company reports that, connected to a 220 V outlet, the time required to charge the batteries is between two and four hours.

ANY has already started reservations for the first production of the LUV1. The estimated initial price is € 8,500 (approximately R$ 50 thousand), although the final cost may change depending on the selected mode. The first deliveries of the vehicles are scheduled for the end of 2027.

Preliminary sales have begun for the electric Range Rover Sport; claimed range is 609 km

JLR has introduced its electric model, the Range Rover Sport Electric, and has started taking orders for this SUV. This model is the first electric vehicle in the Range Rover Sport lineup.

The car is equipped with a 118.5 kWh battery, which provides the claimed range of 609 kilometers. This SUV will feature a dual-motor all-wheel-drive (AWD) system designed to match the performance of the gasoline Range Rover Sport.

The Range Rover Sport Electric is built on JLR's 800-volt architecture, enabling it to achieve the stated range of 609 km. The battery comes with an 8-year or 160,000-kilometer warranty.

The electric SUV will receive dual-motor all-wheel drive, delivering 550 hp and 850 Nm of torque. The company claims that this torque figure is the highest among all Range Rover Sport models, and also notes that the vehicle builds torque faster compared to the larger Range Rover Electric.

The Range Rover Sport Electric is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in just 4.5 seconds. The vehicle supports fast DC charging up to 350 kW, allowing it to charge from 10% to 80% in only 22 minutes. With a 10-minute charge, the vehicle can provide a range of up to 220 kilometers.

The interior of the SUV is largely similar to its internal combustion engine variants. It includes a three-spoke steering wheel with touch controls, a 13.1-inch infotainment touchscreen, and a 13.7-inch driver display; both screens feature menus specific to electric vehicles.

The cabin is equipped with 4-zone climate control, wireless phone charging, and heated and ventilated seats, which can be fitted with rear sunshades. The vehicle is expected to go on sale in March of next year, with an estimated price of 2.5 crore rupees. Orders are currently open.
