According to data from the morning of Wednesday, September 30, 2026, the market showed mixed dynamics: the Sensex index fell by 100 points in the pre-market session, while the Nifty index was at around 23,650. Meanwhile, Asian markets were showing growth.
The GIFT Nifty indicator signaled a possible negative opening for Nifty50. The rise in Asian markets occurred against the backdrop of weakening oil price growth and an increase in the cost of technology stocks. In Japan, the Nikkei 225 index rose by 1.29%, and in South Korea, the Kospi rose by 0.43%.
During overnight hours, the Dow Jones Industrial Average and S&P 500 indices closed down by 0.26% and 0.17%, respectively. The Nasdaq Composite finished trading with a decline of 0.09%.
Brent crude oil prices stabilized during the Asian trading session after falling almost 3% in the previous period. This followed Saudi Arabia restoring half the capacity of the East-West pipeline after drone attacks. September futures are trading on the Intercontinental Exchange at $103.73, which is 1.11% higher.
Gold and silver futures increased by 0.56% and 0.41%, respectively.
Initial Public Offerings (IPOs)
Subscriptions opened for Initial Public Offerings (IPOs) of Nityas Gems & Jewellery and Vishal Nirmiti in the main market segment. In the SME segment, subscriptions were open for IPOs from TNA Solutions, Acme India Industries, Paramount Syntex, Omara Ventures India, Sollfege Smart Electronics, Eventions, SJP Ultrasonics, and Dove Soft.
The IPOs of EverestIMS Technologies, Vans Electroengineerings, Papadmalji Agro Foods, and Black Opal Consultants are moving to the second day of subscription. The IPOs of SRIT India and Shah Investor's Home will enter the last day of subscription on Tuesday. In the SME segment, Acme Universal Safezone 9, Shivchem Agro, and Pind Hospitality IPOs are also in the last day of subscription.

Swastika Infra, ArMee Infotech, Elevate Campuses, and Adroit Industries will debut on the exchanges on Wednesday.
During the data update, it was noted that the Sensex lost 90 points in the pre-market session, then fell by 93.75 points or 0.13% to 72,435. Additionally, the rupee opened higher against the US dollar, rising by 4 points to 95.95 compared to 95.99 at Tuesday's close.
GIFT Nifty and Asian Markets
GIFT Nifty was at 22,813, indicating a drop of 53 points. In the Asian trading session, US index futures rose amid easing concerns about temporary supply shortages. Dow Jones and S&P 500 futures rose by 0.4% and 0.23%, respectively.
